Portland Regional Music Workshop
(A non-profit annual event)
For over 25 years, this group has put together an annual workshop in February that has had 150-200 attendees. The workshop attracts people from all around the region and the draw stretches throughout the NorthWest.
Over the years, the presenters have shared valuable resources related to playing the organ, how to enhance church meetings through music, how to effectively teach music to children, and so much more. As they’ve collected these resources, they’ve needed a way to track and access this history. I recently did an overhaul for them using WordPress. As the historical content surfaces, it gets added to the website and it’s becoming a go to site for musical resources for those familiar with the workshop.
Byrom Parent/School Organization
(A non-profit school support organization)
This support group for an elementary school has lots of different programs and events every year. Most of the basic information is the same since the same events happen every year. They needed more of a static website, with a place for updates and current events to pop from the home page.
A Day in Photography (studio)
(A professional photographer’s startup portfolio)
An MFA (Master of Fine Arts) candidate is setting up a photography business and is required to have an operating website that fits certain criteria. She is still in the process of providing content at this time, but the website is building up to be a beautiful display of her talents. Her website includes several galleries, and will eventually include more sophisticated portfolios, social media links, and a payment portal.
